CENTER FOR ADULT EDUCATION

The St.
James's Center for Adult Education (SJCAE) is a subscription series of
lectures and discussions on a wide range of topics and is open to anyone
who would like to attend, including, and especially, those from outside the
parish. Now in its seventh year, SJCAE offers four-week courses on
religion, faith, philosophy, and spirituality in a unique setting.
Each session is four weeks in length and is held on Wednesday
evenings from 7.00-9.00PM. The cost is $35 for each three or four-week

ADULT DISCUSSION GROUPS
|
|
Adult
Discussion Group, or ADG, meets on Sundays during the Christian Education
Hour following the 9.30 Eucharist in alternation with an informal coffee
hour. All are welcome to attend. Dismissal from ADG coincides with that for
Children's Christian Education so parents can have the opportunity to
attend these events. Some upcoming topics are listed below. Smaller Discussion Groups also take place
on various Sundays throughout the year after the 9:30 Eucharist in the
parish room. This format offers a
more intimate setting with fewer people.
Sign-up sheets are available and group size is usually kept to a
minimum. Check the bulletin for
upcoming small group discussions.

BIBLE STUDY

Bible Study meets Tuesdays from 10-10:55AM, just before the 11AM Eucharist.

WOMEN OF ST. JAMES'S
|
|
The
Women of St. James's meet every Tuesday from October - May for lunch and a
presentation by a guest speaker. Both men and women of all ages are invited
to attend. Call the parish office or watch your bulletin for more
information about upcoming speakers.
