From the Rector
Putting together this website was a more difficult endeavor than those
asked to do it may have originally planned on. To capture the essence
of a vibrant worshiping community and its people in words and pictures
is a nearly impossible task. So, what you will find here on these pages is an attempt to present the many ways in which we the people of St. James's are trying to live out our faith as a community called by God.
Since my arrival here at St. James's in the Fall of 2002, I have been both amazed and humbled by the depth and breadth of the welcome, care and faith of the people of this wonderful parish. While this website is well stocked with information about who we are and what we do, I would hope that anyone who comes upon this site understands that this is only the surface. To know us and the ministries that we share, one must come and experience the workings of the Spirit here on Sunday morning and throughout the week - AND I HOPE THAT YOU WILL.
Come visit us and know the welcome and warmth of a parish founded in a belief that God has something wonderful in mind for each of us no matter how young or how old, no matter where we have come from or where we might be going. Come and share the gift that is your life with us and allow us to share our gifts with you.
