The Newcomers Committee is responsible for welcoming all Newcomers to St. James's. We do this by providing Welcome Brochures at tables in the narthex and cloister entrances to the church, as well as outside the entrance to the chapel. All Newcomers receive a loaf of freshly baked bread and are invited to attend one of two yearly Newcomer receptions to meet other newcomers and members of the church.

Newcomer Receptions
Periodically throughout the year, Newcomers receptions are planned for those new to St. James's. Our next reception will take place in the near future. Check back for more information and the date of our next event.
The Inquirers Class is the perfect opportunity for adults who may be interested in being confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church. The class meets once a month with the opportunity for self study in between. This class will look at a number of different topics such as personal spirituality, Episcopal Church history and governance, the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, our liturgy and Christian/Episcopal theology.
